A familiar meeting place in a digital space.
During the COVID-19 period and restrictions on movement, we supported and developed stammbeiz.li. The idea was to make spontaneous gatherings at a local bar or restaurant possible from home. Using SpatialChat, we recreated the rooms of two bars and restaurants online. Guests could move freely through the rooms, join others at a table and talk to one another. Bringing people together was at the heart of the project.

Appenzeller beer tasting
An Appenzeller beer tasting was offered in one bar. The tasting set was sent to participants at home.
Burgers to collect
Burgers could be pre-ordered at the restaurant and then collected for takeaway.
