Helping parents navigate children’s digital lives.
We want to develop understandable, practical guidelines and recommendations for parents of children using digital media. The aim is to help families make informed decisions, discuss media use together and find an approach that fits their everyday lives.
Express interest
Children & digital mediaThis is a project idea. The guidelines and recommendations have not yet been published; their scope and editorial review still need to be developed.
What we want to make possible.
- Give parents clear, practical guidance on children’s use of digital media
- Help families discuss media use and agree on everyday routines
- Make topics such as age-appropriate content, privacy and online safety understandable
- Bring parents’ experience and media education expertise together
Explore carefully. Stay transparent.
We plan to bring together parents, educators and people with expertise in media education. Recommendations should be based on clearly identified sources, reviewed by suitable specialists and updated as digital media changes. The format and age groups are still to be defined.
